THE RIGHT TO CASH COMPENSATION OF FUNERAL EXPENSES
The right to cash compensation of funeral expenses belongs
to the person paying for the funeral of the pension beneficiary.
The payment is to be made in the amount of one and a
half average pension paid out in the quarter preceding
the day of the beneficiary’s death.
The amount of the payment is to be established on quarterly
basis.
In order to exercise this right, with the application should be enclosed:
- Extract from the register of deaths (photocopy),
- Funeral expenses bill (original or a certified
copy)
- Photocopy of the ID card of the person submitting
the application and
- The deceased pension beneficiary pension
cheque.
